Arka is a pair of round walnut tables on slim metal legs, their tops laid in a sunburst that radiates from the centre.
Four decisions
Sunburst tops
Each walnut top is laid in wedges that radiate from the centre like rays of the sun.
Slim metal legs
Slim brushed-metal legs keep the pair light and leave the floor visible.
A taupe inset
The smaller table carries a taupe inset, a soft contrast against the walnut.
A nesting pair
The smaller table slides under the larger, and comes out when needed.
Materials, named
As shown, walnut-veneered tops laid in a sunburst, the smaller with a taupe inset, on slim brushed stainless steel legs.
The making
The sunburst is laid segment by segment, the tops lacquered matte, and the slim legs welded and brushed before fitting.
The finished piece
They suit a Scandinavian-style living room with a light sofa, a wool rug and plenty of daylight.
