A gold neck
A short gold neck joins the teardrop to the top, a bright point between black and white.
A round white top
The round white top sits crisp above the black, easy to wipe after tea or coffee.

The three-tone contrast gives the small table a modern, graphic presence beside a chair.

The making
The teardrop is spun from steel in two halves, welded and ground smooth, powder-coated black, and joined to a gold PVD neck.
