A living room that wants a glass table and hidden storage together
Glass tables keep a room light, but they offer nowhere to hide the clutter of daily life.
Guha pairs a smoked-glass table on a black frame with a grey drum full of drawers, like a cave hidden beneath it.
Four decisions
A drum with drawers
The grey drum below holds drawers for remotes, coasters and small things.
Smoked glass above
The upper table has a smoked-glass top, so the drum shows softly through it.
A white top
The drum has its own white top, a second surface when the glass table moves aside.
Nesting storage
The glass table stands over the drum, so storage and table share one footprint.
Materials, named
As shown, a round smoked tempered glass top on a black powder-coated frame, over a grey lacquered drum with drawers and a white top.
The making
The drum is built in engineered wood and lacquered grey with drawers on runners, and the black frame welded around it to nest.
The finished piece
It suits a living room that wants a light look but has a family's worth of clutter to hide.
The Guha is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
