A small room that needs a glass table and a home for clutter
Glass keeps a small room light, but a small room also has the least space to hide things.
Alaya pairs a square smoked-glass table with a grey box that holds a drawer, a small home for the room's everyday things.
Four decisions
A grey drawer box
The grey box holds a deep drawer for remotes, chargers, coasters and spare keys.
Smoked glass
The square smoked-glass top keeps the open table light, dark and see-through.
A black frame
A thin black frame carries the glass and nests over or beside the box.
Square and compact
The square pair fits a small living room or a corner beside a chair.
Materials, named
As shown, a square smoked tempered glass top on a black powder-coated frame, nesting with a grey lacquered box with a drawer.
The making
The box is built in engineered wood and lacquered grey with its drawer on runners, and the black frame welded to nest round it.
The finished piece
It suits a small apartment living room where the coffee table must also hide things away.
The image is a room render of the design.
