A living room that needs a coffee table that is also a cabinet
Apartments in Hyderabad often have no room for a sideboard, yet magazines, remotes and board games all need a home.
Nilaya builds a white cabinet into the coffee table itself, with an open shelf and a drawer, under a grey-veined stone top.
Four decisions
An open shelf
An open shelf holds books, magazines or a basket where they can be reached from the sofa.
A drawer
A drawer hides remotes, chargers and the small clutter of the living room.
Black legs
The cabinet stands on slim black legs, so the floor shows and cleaning beneath is easy.
A stone top
The white top veined in grey resists heat, stains and scratches from daily use.
Materials, named
As shown, a rectangular white sintered-stone top with grey veining over a white lacquered cabinet with a shelf and a drawer, on black legs.
The making
The cabinet is built in engineered wood and lacquered white, its drawer fitted on runners, and the black legs fixed before the top is set.
The finished piece
It suits an apartment living room with no sideboard, where the coffee table must store as well as serve.
We make the Nilaya in our own Hyderabad factory and deliver it ourselves, to apartments in Kondapur and Madhapur as readily as to villas in Narsingi.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
