A geometric room that wants nesting tables with unusual shapes
Round and square tables are everywhere, and a room with geometric art and tiles can ask for something sharper.
Shatkona pairs a hexagon of white stone with a rounded triangle of smoked glass, two geometric forms that lock together like a six-pointed star.
Four decisions
A hexagon and a triangle
One top is a hexagon and one a rounded triangle, shapes that fit together when nested.
Glass and stone
The triangle is smoked glass and the hexagon white stone, so the pair has two textures.
Angular black frames
Black frames drawn in straight angled lines carry both tops and echo their edges.
Rearranged daily
The two shapes can overlap, sit side by side or part to stand at two chairs.
Materials, named
As shown, a rounded-triangle smoked tempered glass top and a hexagonal white sintered-stone top on angular black powder-coated steel frames.
The making
The frames are cut from flat steel at precise angles, welded and powder-coated black, and the hexagon cut and edged from one slab.
The finished piece
It suits a geometric living room with patterned tiles, angular art and a modern sofa.
We build the Shatkona in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
