The brief

A warm, traditional room that wants copper-toned cones

Gold is bright and black is stark, and a room of teak and brass wants something in between.

Tamravarna, the colour of copper, stands its white tops on bronze cones with a gold collar, warm and aged.

Four decisions

Bronze cones

Each table stands on a bronze cone, the warm copper colour of temple vessels.

A gold collar

A single gold collar adds a brighter, finer line to the deep bronze of each cone.

White tops

Plain white tops sit crisp above the bronze, easy to wipe and to match.

Warm and aged

Bronze suits teak, brass and carved wood, warmer and quieter than gold.

Materials, named

As shown, round white sintered-stone tops on bronze PVD stainless steel cones with a gold PVD collar.

Sintered stone White, polished
Stainless steel Bronze PVD finish

The making

The cones are spun from stainless steel, polished and finished in bronze PVD, and the gold collar fitted before the tops are set.

The finished piece

They suit a traditional living room with teak furniture and brass lamps.

We build the Tamravarna in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.

Questions

Questions about the Tamravarna nesting tables

Does bronze PVD tarnish?

No. The bronze colour is bonded to stainless steel, so it keeps its glow without polishing.

Can the Tamravarna cones be rose gold?

Yes. The cones can be finished in rose gold, gold or gunmetal PVD.

Sintered stone or Italian marble: which is better for the Tamravarna nesting tables?

On the Tamravarna, sintered stone, as photographed, is harder and needs no sealing; Italian marble is softer and needs sealing, but every slab is one of a kind. The Tamravarna can be made with either, on bronze PVD stainless steel.

How much does the Tamravarna nesting tables cost, and how do I order it?

The price depends on the size and materials you choose, so we quote once the Tamravarna is drawn to your room, factory direct with no showroom markup. Book a design session at our Gachibowli studio, or send photographs of the room the Tamravarna is for on WhatsApp.
