Most modern dining chairs are either starkly minimalist or overly bulky. The client needed seating for a travertine dining table that provided comfortable back support during long dinner parties while introducing personality through fabric storytelling.
They wanted clean geometric lines, light visual weight that lets light pass through, and materials that feel warm to the touch.

Curved ergonomic crescent back
The backrest follows the natural curvature of the thoracic spine, supporting you comfortably without confining your shoulders.
Dual-textile sartorial harmony
The backrest is upholstered in an artisanal vertical-stripe jacquard weave in earthy tones, juxtaposed against a rich mustard-ochre textured bouclé seat cushion.
Cold-rolled steel spindle frame
Four slender tubular steel legs finished in matte black powder-coat offer rigid stability with minimal footprint.
Compact footprint with generous comfort
Carefully calibrated proportions allow 8 to 10 chairs to fit comfortably around a standard dining table without elbow crowding.

Stain-treated performance jacquard back paired with tactile bouclé seating. The legs are coated in durable architectural powder-coat that resists scuffs from shoes.
The making
The steel frame was precision TIG-welded and cleaned by hand before electrostatic powder-coating. The crescent backrest is fastened with concealed threaded steel inserts.
