A family living room that needs flexible table space
A family living room is used for tea, homework, games and guests, and one fixed coffee table rarely suits all of them.
Kankana is a nesting pair: two round tops on gold ring frames that stack as one or separate when the room needs more.
Four decisions
Two rings
Each table stands on a gold ring frame, like a bracelet circling the top above it.
Grey-brown veining
White tops with grey and brown veining hide the small marks of busy family use.
A nesting pair
The smaller table slides beneath the larger, and pulls out to sit beside a chair.
Round, for any seat
Round tops have no corners to knock and work from every seat in the room.
Materials, named
As shown, white sintered-stone tops with grey-brown veining on frames of gold PVD stainless steel; Italian marble tops are available.
The making
The rings are rolled from steel, welded to their legs, polished and finished in gold PVD, and the tops cut from one slab and edged by hand.
The finished piece
They suit a family living room in front of a three-seat sofa, nested most days and split for guests.
The Kankana is drawn at our Gachibowli studio, made in our own factory, and delivered across Hyderabad, from Hitec City and Madhapur to Kokapet and Banjara Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
