A modern living room that wants a round table with a quiet, solid base
Gold and mirror bases suit glamorous rooms, but a calm modern apartment often wants a base that simply holds the top and steps back.
Kuta stands its round white top on one dark grey cone, a solid, quiet form that grounds the table without drawing attention to itself.
Four decisions
A single cone
One dark grey cone carries the whole top, wide at the floor for stability and narrow where knees come close.
Round, with no corners
The round white top suits a sofa and two chairs, with no corners to catch as people move round it.
Grey veining
Soft grey veining in the white stone ties it to the grey cone below, so the table reads as one tonal piece.
Matte, not shiny
The cone is a matte powder-coat, so it absorbs light rather than reflecting it and keeps the table calm.
Materials, named
As shown, a round white sintered-stone top with grey veining on a cone of charcoal powder-coated steel; a white Italian marble top suits it too.
The making
The cone is spun from steel sheet, welded along its seam, ground smooth and powder-coated charcoal, then the round top is cut, edged and fixed.
The finished piece
It suits a modern apartment living room with a grey sofa, concrete-toned walls and a single brass lamp for warmth.
Each Kuta is factory-made in Hyderabad and installed by our own team, whether the home is a penthouse in Kokapet or a villa off the Gandipet road.
