A living room that wants a centre table with flowing lines
Square tables usually come on square bases, which can make the whole set feel boxy in a room with curved seating.
Lata sets its square top on a base of black loops, like a climbing vine, and adds a side table on an S-curved stem.
Four decisions
A looped base
The black base curls in loops beneath the square top, like the tendrils of a vine.
A square top
The square white top suits an L-shaped sofa or seating on several sides.
An S-stem side table
A round side table rises on a black S-shaped stem beside the main table.
Curves and squares
The flowing base softens the square top, so the set suits curved sofas too.
Materials, named
As shown, a square white sintered-stone top on a looped base of black powder-coated steel, with a round side table on a black S-curved stem.
The making
The loops are bent from steel on jigs, welded where they meet and ground smooth, then powder-coated black before the tops are fixed.
The finished piece
It suits a living room with an L-shaped sofa and a curved armchair, where squares and curves meet.
The Lata is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
