A glamorous room that wants bases that reflect the room
Every base takes up space, but a mirror-polished base reflects the floor and rug around it and almost disappears.
Pratibimba, meaning reflection, stands its black tops on mirror-polished steel, one on a curved stem and one on a pedestal.
Four decisions
Mirror-polished steel
The bases are polished to a mirror, reflecting the rug, floor and lamps around them.
A curved stem
One table rises on a curved mirror stem, a sweeping line beneath its top.
A pedestal
The other stands on a mirror pedestal, solid but almost invisible in its reflections.
Black veined tops
Black tops veined in white sit above the shining steel, bold and graphic.
Materials, named
As shown, round black sintered-stone tops with white veining on mirror-polished stainless steel, one curved stem and one pedestal.
The making
The stem and pedestal are formed and welded from stainless steel, then polished by hand to a mirror finish.
The finished piece
They suit a glamorous living room with velvet sofas and a patterned rug to reflect.
