A corner that wants a side table with movement in its frame
Straight rods look precise but still, and a side table in a music room or reading corner can carry more movement.
Tantri twists its gold rods as they rise, pinching them into an hourglass at the middle, like strings pulled tight across a tantri.
Four decisions
Twisted rods
Each gold rod twists as it rises, giving the frame a sense of movement.
An hourglass shape
The rods pinch together at the middle and flare at top and bottom, like an hourglass.
A round white top
The round white top sits calm and still above the twisting gold frame below it.
Light and open
The floor shows through the rods, so the table never looks heavy in a corner.
Materials, named
As shown, a round white top on an hourglass frame of twisted gold PVD stainless steel rods; stone or glass tops are available.
The making
Each rod is twisted on a jig, welded to top and bottom rings and pinched at the waist, then polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
Set it beside a reading chair or in a music room, with a lamp or a small plant on top.
The Tantri is drawn at our Gachibowli studio, made in our own factory, and delivered across Hyderabad, from Hitec City and Madhapur to Kokapet and Banjara Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
