A reading chair that wants a small table with a sculptural stem

A twisting stem
The gold stem twists as it rises, like a valli creeper winding round a temple pillar.
A brown-and-cream top
The round top is patterned in warm brown and cream, a soft colour beside wood and leather.
A round gold base
A round gold base sits flat on the floor and keeps the slim stem perfectly steady.
Sized for a chair
The small top holds a cup, a phone and a book beside a reading chair or a sofa arm.
Materials, named
As shown, a round brown-and-cream sintered-stone top on a twisted stem and round base of gold PVD stainless steel.
The making
The stem is twisted from solid steel bar while hot, welded to its round base plate, polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
Set it beside a leather reading chair with a floor lamp, or at the arm of a cream sofa.
The Valli is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
