A bright living room that wants nesting tables with a light, open base
Solid drum bases can make a pair of round tables look heavy, especially on a pale rug in a sunny apartment.
Venu stands each top on a ring of slim gold rods, like a screen of bamboo, so the light passes through and the pair looks weightless.
Four decisions
Upright gold rods
Each frame is a ring of slim gold rods standing upright, like stems of bamboo, between a top ring and a floor ring.
Soft grey veining
The white tops carry only soft grey veining, so the gold rods remain the detail people notice.
A nesting pair
The smaller table slides under the larger, its rods passing between the larger table's rods.
Light through the base
Because the frames are open, sunlight and the pattern of the rug show through both tables.
Materials, named
As shown, white sintered-stone tops with soft grey veining on frames of upright rods in gold PVD stainless steel; white Italian marble is available.
The making
Each rod is cut to length and welded between two rolled rings on a jig, so every rod stands true, then the frames are polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
They suit a bright living room with a pale rug and a light sofa, nested in front of the sofa or split beside two chairs.
The Venu is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
