A small kitchen that needs an extra surface for two
Folding tables usually feel flimsy, with thin tops that flex and wobble. That is fine for a picnic, but not for a kitchen used every day.
Gallipoli puts a grey stone top on folding legs, so the table feels solid when it is open and still stores flat when the space is needed.
Four decisions
60 × 60 cm
Two seats, or a surface for prep, a laptop or a pile of laundry in a small apartment.
Folding legs
The legs fold under the top and lock open firmly, so the table can come and go without tools.
A stone top
Grey sintered stone is heat- and stain-resistant, which makes the table useful in a kitchen as well as at the table.
Compact storage
Folded, it stores flat against a wall, behind a door or under a bed until it is needed again.
Materials, named
A grey sintered-stone top on folding legs of black powder-coated steel; the stone is cut thin enough to keep the table light to carry.
The making
The legs are welded and powder-coated, the stone is cut thin and edged by hand, and the two are fixed so the table folds without straining the top.
The finished piece
It suits a small kitchen, a home office corner or a studio apartment where every surface has to earn its place.
The Gallipoli is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
