A modern dining room that wants a base made of light
A V-shaped column is one of the most elegant ways to carry a top, and in mirror steel it almost turns into a reflection.
Model T009 polishes its V and its plate to a mirror, so the base takes on the colours of the floor, the chairs and the room.
Four decisions
A V column
Two arms rise from a single point and open beneath the top, the classic sculptural pedestal.
Mirror steel
Every surface is polished to a mirror, so the V reflects the room instead of blocking the view.
A mirror plate
The plate is polished to match, so the base seems to rise out of a still pool on the floor.
Light
The reflections make the base look lighter than it is, which suits a room with a heavy stone top.
Materials, named
Mirror-polished stainless steel, photographed on its mounting frame without a top; pair it with sintered stone, Italian marble or onyx.
The making
The V is welded from steel plate, ground until the joints disappear and polished through finer and finer grades to a mirror.
The finished piece
It suits modern dining rooms with pale floors, grey walls and a single statement pendant.
The T009 is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
