The A-25 (90 × 40 cm) base is drawn for a slim 90 × 40 cm top, the proportion of a console table.
A V
Two dark arms rise from a single point and open beneath the top to support it.
A gold edge
A thin gold line traces the edges of the V, drawing its outline against a pale wall.
A plate
The V stands on a plate that steadies a narrow console so it does not tip when brushed.
Materials, named
Dark-finished steel edged with a gold PVD line, photographed on its own; the top is cut in marble or sintered stone to order.
The making
The V is welded from steel plate, finished dark, and edged in gold PVD along each outer line before the plate is fixed.
The finished piece
It makes a striking console in an entrance hall or behind a sofa, with a white marble top.
