A compact dining table or desk is often the first thing seen in a small apartment, so its base can afford to be sculptural.
Model 24-040 is a curved form of mirror steel on a plate, sized for a 120 × 60 cm top and as much sculpture as support.

A curved form
The steel curves as it rises, so the base reads as one fluid sculptural shape.
Mirror steel
Polished to a mirror, the curve reflects the room and seems to move as you walk past.
A plate
The curve stands on a plate that steadies the table and spreads its weight on the floor.
Materials, named
Mirror-polished stainless steel, photographed on its mounting frame without a top; it can also be finished in gold or rose gold.
The making
The curve is rolled from steel plate and welded, then ground and polished through finer and finer grades to a mirror.
The finished piece
It suits a compact dining corner or a study, beneath a white marble or sintered-stone top.
