An organic wave that opens up the room
A luxury villa living room in Kokapet had a large curved picture window facing a landscaped courtyard. Standard rectangular sectionals created awkward dead corners and blocked the garden view.
The owners wanted a fluid, asymmetrical sofa that hugs the architecture, encourages conversational gatherings from all directions, and doubles as an afternoon daybed.
Four decisions
Sweeping asymmetrical arc
One end curves upward into an enclosing armrest while the other slopes gracefully downward into an open-ended chaise lounge for unrestricted stretching out.
Tactile ivory cloud-bouclé upholstery
The entire carcass is enveloped in seamless bouclé that catches changing daylight throughout the afternoon.
Contrast burnt-terracotta velvet cushions
Two square cushions in deep rust velvet provide a rich pop of warm earth color that ties into timber and brass room accents.
Continuous organic bench deck
No division lines across the seat — just one deep, unbroken sculptural expanse engineered with multi-density HR foam.
Materials, named
Every piece at Mavensoft Furniture is crafted to order in our Hyderabad factory. Every specification on this page is tailored to the exact dimensions of your room.
Multi-layer curved framing engineered to withstand decades of daily use without frame flexion. Upholstered in premium commercial-grade bouclé treated with stain repellent.
The making
Each curved rib was CNC-cut and reinforced with internal Sal wood struts. The upholstery team hand-stretched the seamless bouclé around the complex compounding curves to ensure zero gathers or puckering.
The finished piece
In the villa, Sola transforms the living room from a conventional furniture arrangement into an architectural lounge experience.
