A living room that needs one table most days and two when guests come
Most living rooms only need one centre table, until a weekend or a festival fills the sofa and there is nowhere left for the cups.
Hema is two tables designed as one: the smaller slides under the larger, and comes out when people arrive.
Four decisions
Two round tables
The two tables are drawn to nest, the smaller one sliding fully under the larger.
Amber veining
Cream tops with warm amber veining give the look of honey onyx without its upkeep.
Round gold wire frames
Round frames of gold wire carry each top, light enough to see the floor through.
Two heights
Pulled apart, the two tables sit at different heights, so they overlap without colliding.
Materials, named
As shown, cream sintered-stone tops with amber veining in an onyx pattern, on round frames of gold PVD stainless steel; natural honey onyx is available.
The making
The wire frames are bent on a jig so each ring is true, welded, polished and finished in gold PVD, and the round tops are cut from one slab and edged by hand.
The finished piece
They suit a warm living room with cream sofas and brass lamps, nested in front of the sofa most of the week.
We build the Hema in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
