A soft living room that wants warmth without bright gold
Bright gold can feel loud in a room furnished in blush, ivory and pale wood, where everything else is soft.
Tamra uses rose gold, a warmer and gentler metal, beneath pale cream tops, so the nesting pair suits a quiet room.
Four decisions
Two nesting tables
The smaller table slides under the larger, so the pair takes the floor of one.
Rose-gold frames
Rose-gold wire frames are softer than gold and sit kindly beside blush and ivory.
Pale cream tops
Pale cream stone keeps the pair calm and lets the metal frames carry the warmth.
Light and open
The open wire frames let the rug and floor show through, so the tables never look heavy.
Materials, named
As shown, pale cream sintered-stone tops on frames of rose-gold PVD stainless steel; the tops can be Italian marble.
The making
The frames are bent and welded on a jig, polished and finished in rose-gold PVD, and the two tops are cut from the same slab so their tones match.
The finished piece
They suit a soft living room with a blush or ivory sofa, a pale rug and gentle lighting.
