A living room that wants a black stone table with bold veining
A black coffee table can disappear in a dark room unless its stone has a strong pattern to catch the eye.
Kajal's black top is drawn through with bold white veins, like kohl lines on dark skin, on a tapered grey base.
Four decisions
Bold white veining
Strong white veins run across the black top, so it reads clearly in any light.
A square top
The square top suits an L-shaped sofa or seating on several sides.
A tapered base
The dark grey base tapers towards the floor, so the heavy top seems to float.
Black and grey
Black stone over a grey base keeps the table dark and graphic.
Materials, named
As shown, a square black sintered-stone top with white veining on a tapered base of charcoal powder-coated steel; Nero Marquina marble is available.
The making
The tapered base is cut and welded from steel plate and powder-coated, and the top is cut so its white veins cross the square boldly.
The finished piece
It suits a modern living room with a light rug and a grey or white sofa, where the black top is the focal point.
The Kajal is drawn at our Gachibowli studio, made in our own factory, and delivered across Hyderabad, from Hitec City and Madhapur to Kokapet and Banjara Hills.
