The brief

A living room that wants white stone with a timber frame

White stone tops can look cold on their own, and a timber frame around them brings them back into a warm room.

Shringa frames each white top in a walnut rim and sets it on a tan cone, rising to a point beneath it like a mountain peak.

Four decisions

Walnut rims

A walnut rim frames each white top, protecting its edge and warming the stone.

Tan cones

Each table stands on a tan powder-coated cone, wide at the floor and narrow beneath the top.

White inside timber

The bright white stone inside the dark rim reads like a tray, neat and easy to wipe.

A nest

The tables stand at different heights and slide together or apart as the room needs them.

Materials, named

As shown, round white sintered-stone tops set in walnut-veneered rims, on cone pedestals of tan powder-coated steel.

Walnut veneer Matte lacquer over the grain
Frame Tan powder-coat

The making

The rims are formed and veneered in walnut, the stone set into them, and the cones spun from steel and powder-coated tan.

The finished piece

They suit a warm living room with a leather sofa, a jute rug and walnut furniture.

The Shringa is drawn at our Gachibowli studio, made in our own factory, and delivered across Hyderabad, from Hitec City and Madhapur to Kokapet and Banjara Hills.

Questions

Questions about the Shringa nesting tables

How is the Shringa different from the Shikhara nesting tables?

Both stand on tan cones; the Shikhara has plain walnut tops, the Shringa white stone set inside walnut rims.

Can the Shringa rims be oak instead of walnut?

Yes. The rims can be veneered in light oak or teak, with the cones powder-coated to match.

Can the Shringa nesting tables be made in Italian marble or onyx?

Yes. The Shringa shown is walnut veneer on tan powder-coated steel; the same design can take a top of Italian marble, onyx or Pandora quartzite, and you choose the slab yourself at our Gachibowli studio.

How much does the Shringa nesting tables cost, and how do I order it?

The price depends on the size and materials you choose, so we quote once the Shringa is drawn to your room, factory direct with no showroom markup. Book a design session at our Gachibowli studio, or send photographs of the room the Shringa is for on WhatsApp.
