A glamorous living room that wants a statement gold base
A statement coffee table needs a base people look at twice, but a solid sculpture can make the room feel heavy.
Vajra draws its gold base in fine wire, faceted like a diamond, so it has the presence of a sculpture and the lightness of a line drawing.
Four decisions
A faceted wire cage
Fine gold wire forms a faceted cage beneath the top, like the outline of a cut diamond.
Light and open
Because the base is wire, the floor shows through it and the table never looks heavy.
A round white top
The round white top sits calm above the busy gold lines below.
A centrepiece
The faceted cage catches light from every side, a centrepiece in a room for guests.
Materials, named
As shown, a round white sintered-stone top on a faceted wire cage of gold PVD stainless steel; marble or onyx tops are available.
The making
Each wire is cut and bent to its facet, welded at every point, ground clean, and the cage polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
It suits a glamorous living room with velvet sofas, a chandelier and a pale rug.
The image is a room render of the design.
We make the Vajra in our own Hyderabad factory and deliver it ourselves, to apartments in Kondapur and Madhapur as readily as to villas in Narsingi.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
