A black V
Two black arms rise from a single point and open wide beneath the top to carry it.
A gold edge
A thin gold line traces each edge of the V, so the black base reads clearly in any light.
Room for two
With one central support, two people can sit facing each other without knocking knees.

Black powder-coated steel edged with a gold PVD line, photographed on its mounting frame without a top.
The making
The V is welded from steel plate, powder-coated black and edged in gold PVD along each outer line before the plate is fixed.
The finished piece
It suits a table for two in a bay window, or a writing desk in a study with dark walls.
