A table that wants solid timber ends without heaviness
Solid slab legs look strong and honest, but a full slab at each end of a table can feel heavy in a small dining room.
Model B01 cuts openings through its walnut slabs, so the ends keep their strength and the light passes through them.
Four decisions
Sized for 140 × 60 cm
The legs are drawn for a 140 × 60 cm top, a slim table that seats four in a compact room.
Walnut slabs
Each end is a slab of walnut-finished timber, strong enough to carry a heavy stone top on its own.
Cut-outs
Openings cut through the slabs lighten them visually and frame the floor and the room beyond them.
Long sides free
With the slabs at the ends, both long sides of the table are free for chairs or a bench.
Materials, named
Solid wood with a walnut finish; a display top is shown in the photograph, and yours can be stone, marble or timber.
The making
The slabs are glued up from solid timber, the cut-outs shaped and their edges rounded by hand, then finished in walnut.
The finished piece
It suits a warm dining room or a study, beneath a cream stone or timber top.
We build the B01 in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
