A villa dining room with a two-metre slab and no room for corner legs
Villa dining rooms in Narsingi and Gandipet often take tops of two metres or more, cut from a single heavy slab of marble or quartzite.
Model F33 spreads its crossed arms long and low beneath such a slab, so the weight is carried towards the ends while the corners stay clear.
Four decisions
Long arms, low down
The arms reach far towards the ends of the table, low enough that no knee ever meets them.
Built for heavy slabs
The length of the arms spreads the load of a two-metre stone top evenly, so it never sags at the ends.
A rectangular plate
A long plate under the crossing anchors the base and spreads its weight across a stone or tiled floor.
Grey, to let stone speak
The grey finish recedes beneath a dramatic Pandora quartzite or Calacatta marble slab above it.
Materials, named
Grey powder-coated steel arms and plate, photographed on its mounting frame; drawn to pair with a long slab of Italian marble, onyx or Pandora quartzite.
The making
The long arms are cut from heavy steel section, notched and welded at the crossing, braced to the plate, ground smooth and powder-coated grey.
The finished piece
Beneath a single two-metre slab in a villa dining room, it lets the stone be the whole story of the room.
We make the F33 in our own Hyderabad factory and deliver it ourselves, to apartments in Kondapur and Madhapur as readily as to villas in Narsingi.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
