A dining table where the top should do all of the talking
When a client has chosen a dramatic slab, the base should be strong and quiet, with nothing to compete with the stone.
Model A 86 is two flat panel legs with mounting plates, as plain as a base can be while still carrying a heavy top.
Four decisions
Two flat panels
One flat panel at each end of the table carries the top, leaving the long sides free.
Mounting plates
Plates at the top of each panel fix it securely to the underside of the top.
Quiet by design
The panels have no ornament, so a richly veined marble or onyx top takes all of the attention.
For long tops
It carries tops of 160 to 200 cm, in any stone, marble or timber slab.
Materials, named
Powder-coated steel, photographed on its own; the panels can be finished in black, white, grey or any PVD colour.
The making
The panels are cut from steel plate, the mounting plates welded on, the edges ground smooth and the whole powder-coated.
The finished piece
Pair it with a single dramatic slab of Italian marble or onyx for a dining table built around the stone.
The A 86 is made in our own factory and delivered across Hyderabad, from Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to Kokapet, Narsingi and the Financial District.
