A square table that wants a graphic black-and-steel base
A square table for four needs support on every side, and black panels with a line of steel give it a strong graphic outline.
Model A-44 sets its black panel legs with polished-steel inlay, so the base reads crisply against a pale floor.
Four decisions
Sized for 80 × 80 cm
The legs are drawn for an 80 × 80 cm square top, which seats four, one on each side.
Black panels
Black panel legs carry the top, solid and graphic beneath the table and steady on any floor.
Steel inlay
A line of polished steel is inlaid into each black panel, catching the light as you move round the table.
Graphic
Black lacquer and bright steel together make the base read as a crisp drawing against a pale floor.
Materials, named
Black lacquer with a polished-steel inlay in each panel; a display top is shown in the photograph, and yours is cut to order.
The making
The panels are built in engineered wood, the steel inlay set into each and polished, and the panels then lacquered black around it in several coats.
The finished piece
It suits a modern square dining table or a games table in a monochrome room.
The A-44 is drawn at our Gachibowli studio, made in our own factory, and delivered across Hyderabad, from Hitec City and Madhapur to Kokapet and Banjara Hills.
