Gold PVD
The ring is finished in gold PVD bonded to stainless steel, which keeps its colour without polishing.
Open beneath
The open circle lets the floor show through, so the base looks light despite its size.

The making
The ring is rolled from steel to a true circle, its seam welded and ground away, then polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
Beneath a white marble top it makes a striking breakfast table or dressing table in a bright room.
