A compact dining room that still wants drama
A small dining room can still be the most dramatic room in the house, if the table is chosen as its centrepiece rather than as an afterthought.
Davos brings black and gold to a 150 cm table that fits an apartment, with legs drawn in a simpler, more contemporary curve than its sister, Zermatt.
Four decisions
150 × 90 cm
Four to six seats in a compact room, with space for a sideboard or bar cabinet against the wall beside it.
Curved gold legs
The legs curve inward at the knee and outward at the foot, but with a cleaner, more modern line than a cabriole.
Gold in the stone
Gold veining runs through the black top, tying the surface to the legs so the table reads as a single idea.
Drama in a small room
Black and gold makes a small table the focus of the room, especially beneath a single brass pendant.
Materials, named
Black sintered stone with gold veining on the top; legs in stainless steel with a gold PVD finish that can be changed to rose gold.
The making
The legs are shaped from steel and welded to a frame, polished and finished in gold PVD, then the top is dry-fitted and levelled on the bench.
The finished piece
Pair it with black or cream chairs and a single brass pendant in a compact dining room with dark walls.
The Davos is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
