A dining room that wants classic curves in a modern finish
Cabriole legs belong to classic European furniture, usually carved in dark wood and paired with heavy, traditional dining rooms.
Zermatt draws the same curve in polished gold metal beneath a black stone top, so a classic shape arrives in a sharp, modern palette.
Four decisions
150 × 90 cm
Four to six seats, sized for a dining room in an apartment where the table is also the focal point of the living area.
Cabriole legs
Each leg curves out at the knee and back in at the foot, the S-shaped line that defines a classic cabriole table.
Black and gold
A black top veined in gold sits over gold legs, so the colour of the base runs up into the stone itself.
A graphic outline
Against a light marble floor, the four gold legs draw a crisp, unmistakable silhouette beneath the black top.
Materials, named
Black sintered stone with gold veining on the top, and legs in stainless steel finished in gold PVD; a Nero Marquina Italian marble top is available.
The making
The legs are bent and shaped from steel to their cabriole curve, polished and given their gold PVD finish, then fixed to a steel frame beneath the top.
The finished piece
It is striking on white marble floors; pair it with black velvet chairs and a crystal pendant for a glamorous dining room.
We build the Zermatt in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
