A dining room that needs a classic table, not a trend
Some homes want a dining table that will still look right in twenty years: four legs, a good top, and nothing that dates it to a particular season.
Valetta is that table, with a veined stone top and four honest walnut legs, made to be passed down rather than replaced.
Four decisions
150 × 90 cm
Four to six seats, the size most families use every day, with room for a serving dish in the middle.
Four walnut legs
Solid block legs, one at each corner: the most stable arrangement a table can have, and the easiest to sit at.
Veining with warmth
The grey-brown veins in the top tie the white stone to the walnut legs, so the two materials look chosen together.
Square corners
The legs sit at the corners, so chairs tuck straight in along each side and the table can stand close to a wall.
Materials, named
White sintered stone with grey-brown veining on the top, and legs of solid wood with a walnut finish; Italian marble is available for the top.
The making
The legs are cut from solid timber, squared, sanded and finished in walnut, then fixed to a concealed apron that keeps the whole frame rigid.
The finished piece
It suits a traditional or transitional home, with upholstered dining chairs and a rug beneath the table.
The Valetta is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
