Round tables tip when their base is too narrow, and wobble when it is too light; a cone solves both problems at once.
Model T036 is a matte black cone, broad at the floor where stability is needed and slim beneath the top where knees need room.
Four decisions
A cone
Wide at the floor and narrow at the top, so the table is steady and knees and chairs have room.
Black powder-coat
A matte black finish that hides the scuffs left by chair legs, shoes and the daily mop.
For round tops
It suits round tops of 80 to 110 cm, the size of a café table or a breakfast table for two to four.
Simple
With nothing to distract the eye, the black cone lets a veined stone top take all of the attention.
Materials, named
Steel in a matte black powder-coat, photographed on its mounting frame without a top, ready for a round stone or glass top.
The making
The cone is spun from steel sheet, welded along its seam, ground smooth so no line shows, and powder-coated black.
The finished piece
It suits a breakfast table, a café table or a small dining table by a window.
