A small room where the table base should nearly vanish
In a small room every solid object takes up visual space, and a dark pedestal beneath a table is no exception.
Model T038 is a mirror-polished steel cone that reflects the floor and the room around it, so the top seems to float.
Four decisions
A cone
Wide at the floor for stability and narrow at the top for knees and chairs.
Mirror steel
Polished to a mirror, the cone takes on the colour of the floor it stands on.
For round tops
It suits round tops of 80 to 110 cm across, seating two to four around a single cone.
Light
The reflections make the base look far lighter than a solid black or timber pedestal.
Materials, named
Mirror-polished stainless steel, photographed on its mounting frame without a top, ready for the round top you choose.
The making
The cone is spun from stainless steel sheet, welded and then polished through progressively finer grades until it is a true mirror.
The finished piece
It suits round dining tables and café tables in small rooms with light floors.
The T038 is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
