A modern room that wants a substantial black base, not a spindly one
Black geometric bases suit modern rooms, but many are thin and spindly, made of tubes that look flimsy beneath a heavy top.
Model B98 is angular and substantial: a base built from real planes, which looks as strong as the stone it carries.
Four decisions
Crisp planes
The B98 base is built from flat steel planes meeting at sharp angles, so its edges catch the light.
Black powder-coat
A matte black finish hides fingerprints and suits the black taps, frames and light fittings of a modern home.
Geometric
Its outline changes as you walk round the table, from a slim profile to a broad, angular one.
For long tops
It carries rectangular tops of 150 to 180 cm, in stone, marble or toughened glass.
Materials, named
Steel in a black powder-coat, which can be changed to gold, rose gold or gunmetal PVD; a display top is shown.
The making
The planes are cut from steel plate, welded, ground clean at every joint so no seam shows, and powder-coated black.
The finished piece
It suits modern dining rooms with concrete, black steel, leather chairs and a single dramatic pendant.
We make the B98 in our own Hyderabad factory and deliver it ourselves, to apartments in Kondapur and Madhapur as readily as to villas in Narsingi.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
