Curves that answer each other
The brief is a living room with a round table at its centre, where straight furniture sets up too many corners.
It asks for a sofa and a chair that echo one another in curve and colour, with enough pattern to look at.
Four decisions
A long curve and a round chair
The sofa's long curve and the chair's round form speak the same language, so the set reads as one arrangement.
Patterned arms and back
A beige pattern on the arms and the chair back gives the set a surface to look at.
Brown velvet and beige
Brown velvet on the chair's seat and base, with beige on the sofa, keeps the palette to two warm tones.
Round cushions
Spherical cushions repeat the round forms.
Materials, named
As shown. Any piece can be made in another fabric, velvet or leather, chosen from the swatches in our Gachibowli studio.
The making
The curved frames are built in our factory and upholstered by hand, with the pattern matched across the arms so it reads as one piece.
The finished piece
In a living room, the sofa curves around a round table, with the chair at the open end.
We build the Agora lounge set in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
