A long open-plan room that wants a sectional with a built-in surface
Long sectionals often leave the person at the end without a surface for a cup or a book, and a separate side table crowds the arm.
Navona builds a woven rattan platform into one end, a low surface that is part of the sofa and finishes its long, angled run.
Four decisions
An angled run
The sectional turns at a shallow angle rather than a right angle, so it opens towards the room.
A rattan platform
A woven rattan platform at one end gives a built-in surface for cups, books and lamps.
Cream weave
A cream weave keeps the long sofa light and calm in a large room.
A slim metal base
A slim metal base lifts the sectional, so its length does not look heavy.
Materials, named
As shown, a cream weave on the seats and backs, with a hand-woven rattan side platform on a slim metal base.
The making
The rattan is woven by hand over the platform frame, and the sectional is built in seasoned hardwood sections joined at the angle, sprung and covered.
The finished piece
It suits a long open-plan living room or a villa lounge, facing a garden or a large window.
We build the Navona in our Hyderabad factory and deliver it to homes across the city, from Gachibowli and Kondapur to Tellapur, Gandipet and Jubilee Hills.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
