A living room that wants craft it can see and touch
Many leather sofas look the same from across a room, smooth panels with nothing to show how they were made or by whom.
Saddle Lattice puts the craft on its arms: straps of dark leather woven by hand into a lattice, held in a frame of polished steel.
Four decisions
A deep three-seater
The Saddle Lattice seat is deep enough to sit back in properly, and the sofa runs long enough for three adults side by side.
Woven leather arms
Each arm panel is a lattice of dark leather straps, woven by hand so the pattern is tight and even.
Polished steel frames
The woven panels sit in mirror-polished steel frames, which give the soft leather a crisp, modern edge.
Pale grey leather
Pale grey leather on the seat and back keeps the sofa light and lets the dark woven arms stand out.
Materials, named
As shown, pale grey leather on the seat and back, with arm panels of woven dark leather straps in mirror-polished stainless steel frames. It is also drawn as a larger L-shaped sectional.
The making
The leather straps are cut, edged and woven by hand over each arm frame, the steel frames polished, and the pale grey leather drawn over the hardwood body and cushions.
The finished piece
It suits a modern living room with timber floors and a stone centre table, where the woven arms are seen up close.
We make the Saddle Lattice in our own Hyderabad factory and deliver it ourselves, to apartments in Kondapur and Madhapur as readily as to villas in Narsingi.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
