Vayu lifts its deep ivory leather body on steel sled legs, so the sofa feels light and airy despite its generous seat.
Four decisions
Two deep modules
The sofa is made of two deep modules, generous enough to lounge in and easy to deliver.
Soft square arms
The Vayu arms are square in plan but softly padded, so they look tailored and feel comfortable.
Ivory leather
Ivory leather brightens the room and softens with use, taking on a gentle patina.
Steel sled legs
Mirror-polished sled legs lift the sofa, so its body seems to float above the floor.
Materials, named
As shown, ivory leather over both deep modules, on mirror-polished stainless steel sled legs; the leather can be any colour from samples.
The making
Each module is built in seasoned hardwood, sprung and padded deeply, and the ivory leather is matched for tone across both modules before it is drawn over.
The finished piece
It suits a bright living room with white walls and a pale stone floor, beside a glass or marble centre table.
The Vayu is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
