A clean navy line, broken by one strap
The brief is a living room that needs two sofas that belong together: a main sofa on the long wall and a smaller one at a right angle to it, without the look of a showroom set.
It asks for a calm, dark colour with one detail that is clearly designed, and seats that stay comfortable for a long evening.
Four decisions
A pair, drawn together
The three-seater and the two-seater share one profile, so they sit at a right angle and read as a single arrangement.
The strap
A beige strap with a metal buckle crosses each arm. It is the one detail that sets the set apart.
Navy with a beige contrast
Navy leatherette for the body, beige for the arm panels and strap. Navy blue and beige are the two finishes shown.
Plush seats on slim legs
Deep, soft cushions sit on slim metal legs, which keeps the floor visible under both sofas.
Materials, named
As shown. Any piece can be made in another fabric, velvet or leather, chosen from the swatches in our Gachibowli studio.
The making
The covers are cut and stitched in our factory, with the strap and buckle fitted at each arm, then stretched over the frame by hand.
