A bedroom with high ceilings that wants a commanding bed
In a bedroom with high ceilings, a low bed can look lost against a tall, empty wall.
Wingback Horizon raises a tall headboard with wings at each side, so the bed commands the wall and the room.
Four decisions
A tall headboard
The headboard rises tall, filling more of a high wall and giving the bed real presence in the room.
Wings at each side
Wings at each side of the headboard frame the pillows and make the bed feel sheltered and enclosed.
A cream centre panel
A cream padded panel sits within the brown frame, soft to lean against and bright behind the pillows.
A long, low base
The base runs long and low, a calm horizontal line beneath the tall, winged headboard.
Materials, named
As shown, brown velvet on the headboard wings and base with a cream padded centre panel; it can be made with a hydraulic storage base.
The making
The tall headboard is framed in hardwood and padded, the wings shaped and covered, and the brown and cream panels upholstered and fitted by hand.
The finished piece
It suits a master bedroom with high ceilings and wall lights either side of the headboard.
The Wingback Horizon is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
