A curved headboard
The headboard curves gently, padded so it is comfortable to sit up against with a book.
Low and swept
The whole bed is kept low and swept, like a coupé car body, so it never dominates the room.
Slim legs
Slim dark metal legs lift the bed clear of the floor, which makes cleaning beneath it easy.
Two colourways
It is shown in grey and in tan, and can be upholstered in any fabric or leather.
Materials, named
As shown, in a grey or tan weave with a padded headboard, on slim dark metal legs; it can be made with a hydraulic storage base.
The making
The curved headboard is framed and padded, the cover cut and fitted round its curve by hand, and the slim legs fixed to a hardwood frame.
The finished piece
It suits a modern bedroom with a low ceiling or a window behind the bed, where a tall headboard would block the light.
