A living room that wants a glass table with one striking base
Under a glass top the base is always on show, so it needs to be worth looking at from above as well as the side.
Abha seats its amber glass on one polished gold cone, which glows through the tinted top like a ray of evening sun.
Four decisions
A single gold cone
One polished gold cone carries the top, wide at the floor and narrow beneath the glass.
Amber glass
The tinted top colours the gold below, so the base glows through it in warm light.
Seen from above
Looking down through the glass, the cone reads as a bright point at the table's centre.
Round and open
The round top and single base leave space for knees and feet all round the table.
Materials, named
As shown, a round amber-tinted tempered glass top on a cone pedestal of gold PVD stainless steel.
The making
The cone is spun from stainless steel, welded to a weighted plate, polished and finished in gold PVD, and the glass seated on clear pads.
The finished piece
It suits a living room with a cream or caramel sofa and warm, low lighting in the evening.
Each Abha is factory-made in Hyderabad and installed by our own team, whether the home is a penthouse in Kokapet or a villa off the Gandipet road.
