A dark, moody room that wants tables that barely show
Solid tables can crowd a room painted charcoal or navy, where every piece of furniture adds more weight.
Ratri uses smoked glass and fine black wire, so the tables are dark like the room but almost transparent, like the night.
Four decisions
Smoked glass
The round tops are smoked tempered glass, dark but see-through, so the rug still shows.
Fine wire frames
Thin black wire frames draw each table in a few clean lines, like a sketch in ink.
Nearly invisible
Dark glass on dark wire nearly vanishes in a charcoal or navy room at night.
A nest
The tables stand at two heights and slide together or apart as the evening needs.
Materials, named
As shown, round smoked tempered glass tops on frames of fine black powder-coated steel wire; clear or bronze glass is available.
The making
The wire is bent on jigs, welded at every joint, ground smooth and powder-coated black, and the smoked tops seated on clear pads.
The finished piece
They suit a dark living room with navy or charcoal walls, a velvet sofa and low lamps.
The Ratri is made to order in our own factory in Cherlapally, drawn at our Gachibowli studio, and delivered to Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Tellapur and beyond.
Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.
