The brief

A living room that wants a lattice of gold without polish

Crossed gold rods make a beautiful lattice, but polished gold can glare under ceiling lights.

Vitana crosses its rods in matte yellow gold, like the cords of a festival canopy, soft in any light.

Four decisions

Crossed rods

Rods cross on every side of each base, forming a lattice like the cords of a canopy.

Matte yellow gold

Matte gold powder-coat gives the lattice the colour of gold with no glare.

White tops

Round white sintered-stone tops sit above the crossing lattice, clean, plain and bright.

Light through the lattice

Light falls through the crossing rods, drawing soft shadows on the rug.

Materials, named

As shown, round white sintered-stone tops on crossed-rod frames of matte yellow-gold powder-coated steel; polished PVD is available.

The making

Each rod is cut and angled, welded at the crossings and to top and foot rings, and powder-coated matte yellow gold.

The finished piece

They suit a living room with ceiling spotlights or big windows, where polished gold would glare.

Each Vitana is factory-made in Hyderabad and installed by our own team, whether the home is a penthouse in Kokapet or a villa off the Gandipet road.

Your room is not this room. Bring photographs and we will draw to it.

Questions

Questions about the Vitana nesting tables

How is the Vitana different from the Tantu nesting tables?

Both use crossed rods; the Tantu frames are polished gold PVD, the Vitana frames matte gold powder-coat.

Can the Vitana tops be veined?

Yes. The tops can be white veined in grey, onyx-pattern or Italian marble.

Sintered stone or Italian marble: which is better for the Vitana nesting tables?

On the Vitana, sintered stone, as photographed, is harder and needs no sealing; Italian marble is softer and needs sealing, but every slab is one of a kind. The Vitana can be made with either, on gold powder-coated steel.

Where can I order the Vitana nesting tables in Hyderabad?

You can order the Vitana at our design studio in Gachibowli, or on WhatsApp. We draw the Vitana to your room, show you its materials as samples, and give you a factory-direct quote before anything is made.
