A short console or hall table that wants sculptural legs
Not every hall or landing has room for a long console, and a 120 cm top fits where a 150 cm one would crowd the doorway.
Model 20 brings the same twisted, fluted black legs as the Model 21 to a shorter 120 × 50 cm top, for a smaller wall.
Four decisions
Sized for 120 × 50 cm
The legs are drawn for a slim 120 × 50 cm top, the size of a console in a hall or on a landing.
Fluted along their length
Crisp grooves run the full height of each leg, catching the light and throwing fine shadows.
A slow twist
The flutes twist as they rise, so each leg seems to turn as you walk past it in the hall.
Matte black
A matte black finish keeps the texture graphic and suits black frames, mirrors and lamps.
Materials, named
Black powder-coated steel, photographed on its mounting frame without a top; the top is cut in marble, sintered stone or timber.
The making
The legs are fluted, twisted on the same jig as the Model 21 so the pair match, welded to their frame and powder-coated black.
The finished piece
Beneath a white marble top with a round mirror above, it makes a striking console in an entrance hall.
