A dining table that should look as light as possible
A heavy base can make even a beautiful marble top look clumsy, especially in a smaller dining room with low ceilings.
Model N01 is a gold frame on very slender angled legs, so the top seems to hover over the floor on four fine lines of gold.
Four decisions
A gold frame
The frame runs round the underside of the top, supporting a stone top evenly along every one of its edges.
Slender legs
The legs are as slim as they can be while staying rigid, so the base almost disappears beneath the top.
Angled out
Each leg angles outward towards the floor, which gives the table a wide, stable stance despite its slim lines.
Gold PVD
The gold finish is PVD bonded to stainless steel, which keeps its colour through years of dusting and wiping.
Materials, named
Gold PVD stainless steel, photographed on its mounting frame without a top; the top is cut in sintered stone, Italian marble or onyx.
The making
The frame and legs are welded on a jig so all four angles match, ground clean at every joint, polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
It suits a small dining room or an apartment where the table must look light, with a white marble top.
