A long dining table that wants slim gold ends
A long table needs support at both ends, but heavy legs crowd the end chairs and make the table look bulky from the side.
Model T147 uses two angular gold legs, crisp and slim, so a long stone top seems to rest lightly on two lines of gold.
Four decisions
Two legs
One leg at each end of the top carries the stone, leaving the long sides entirely free for chairs.
Angular
Each leg is a crisp, angled form, a little like an open bracket seen from the end of the table.
Gold
A gold PVD finish on stainless steel, which keeps its colour through daily dusting and wiping.
For long tops
It carries tops of 160 to 200 cm, the size of a six- to eight-seat dining table.

The making
Each leg is cut and welded from steel, ground clean so no seam shows, polished and finished in gold PVD.
The finished piece
Under a long white marble top it makes a formal dining table for a villa or a large apartment.
